Bias override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing helps real estate professionals interrupt stereotypical thinking so they can avoid fair housing pitfalls and provide equal professional service to every customer or client.

Participants will examine the history of bias in real estate, learn about the mind science of identity, study how implicit bias can result in fair housing violations and engage in interactive exercises to enhance communication skills and business relationships with clients of all backgrounds.

In addition, as a licensed and certified speaker, trainer and coach, she also brings great value in the areas of Leadership Development, Communicating and Connecting, Diversity and Inclusion, Personality Behavior Assessment Coach, Goal Setting and Personal Development.

 Kimberly has served the REALTOR® family as the former Director of Professional Standards for a local association, sat on the IAR Professional Standards Committee and License Law Working Group, earned her RCE in 2010 and has been fortunate and blessed to train at IAR Professional Standards training on content self-authored on Arbitration and Dispute Resolution.  Kimberly also earned her designation as a certified Mediator with NAR in 2004, and has served as an Ombudsmen with IAR for 5 years.  She has also enjoyed the opportunity to teach with Kate Sax and Laurie Talezaar, co-facilitating Mulitboard Professional Standards training.

 Kimberly holds a managing broker’s license and has managed small boutique firms to larger franchise brokerages and discovered her passion, training.

 As a consultant, trainer and speaker, Kimberly trains brokerages, companies, groups and organizations to develop leadership and communication training in part, based on John Maxwell’s training and curriculum. Kimberly has folded this into her consulting business which allows her to add value in various ways ranging from a key note speaker to delivering mini virtual, live half day or full day workshops delivering training for all team levels.
