First you need to successfully complete our 45 hour Real Estate Transaction Course (the pre-license course)

This is a mandatory basic course for all salespeople. Successful completion fulfills the Illinois 45-hour pre-licensing education requirement. The course covers the various factors involved in a real estate transaction: finance, real property law, property, listing agreements, taxes, legal descriptions, Illinois License Law, agency, disclosure, environmental issues, and ethics. Pre-Licensing Broker Overview

To Begin
To obtain a real estate broker license for the state of Illinois, you must:

• be at least 21 years old;
• successfully complete the pre-license 45-hour basic transactions course;
• successfully complete 75 class hours of broker courses at a real estate school approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), and
• pass the Illinois exam. More>
