Would you like to be a part of the future of MORe? The backbone of Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®
is the volunteers that sit on or chair the various committees and task forces. A great way to gain experience, meet new people and help guide the future of MORe is to become involved. See the list below for the various committee opportunities. Please contact Mary Steed with any questions.
Open Committee/Task Forces
Affiliate Committee:
Made up of non-REALTOR members who work in related fields (i.e. attorneys, appraisers, loan officers, title insurance companies, etc.); this Committee helps plan outings and are strong supporters of the Association's activities.
Commercial Committee:
Develops programs to meet the needs of our commercial members. A minimum of three-years Commercial experience.
Fundraising Task Force:
This Task Force is responsible for planning fundraising events throughout the year. This task force meets 1-3 times a year.
Golf Outing Committee:
Organizes and runs the yearly Golf Outing. The outing provides opportunities for REALTORS and Affiliates to network.
International Council:
Develops programs and services to meet the international global needs of our REALTOR members. Must have completed the initial CIPS class, International Real Estate for Local Markets.
Legislative/Governmental Affairs Committee:
This committee watches legislation effecting real estate and REALTORS interests and shall as needed bring such matters to the attention of the Association with suggested action to be taken. It watches and protects the interests of REALTORS and property owners in the matter of real estate and its use and taxation. In addition, the Committee works to develop and maintain lines of communication with government officials and community organizations. This committee meets monthly.
Professional Development Committee:
Committee keeps their fingertips on the pulse of the industry to respond to Mainstreet members' education needs. Activities include planning and implementing technology topics and tools, competitive edge seminars and selecting national/local speakers for events. Meet in person 4 times per year plus conference calls when needed.
Senior Services Task Force:
The mission of the Senior Service Network is service over self. The task force contains like-minded individuals who want to help seniors and their families' transition to a new lifestyle.
Young Profession Network:
Open to any member of MORe. The group gets together to network and give back to the community. Anyone interested in joining this group should email
