 Global Council Highlights

During the week of August 3rd, 2015, Mainstreet had the honor of participating in an educational event with and hosting representatives from the Republic of Ghana. The Republic of Ghana currently does not have a regulated real estate industry and this has caused problems and uncertainty in its marketplace. MORe’s members and staff hosted the event in an effort to start a dialog between our two countries and help in any way that will promote better real estate practices on a global scale.

MRED Has Gone Global

MRED now allows its members to market and facilitate international real estate transactions! The ability to add and manage listings located outside the United States came with an update to connectMLS in 2014. They have compiled an International Property Type Glossary to help you quickly and easily interpret the various fields on the Listing Input Sheet and connectMLS. You can also view the changes made to MRED Rules and Regulations to accommodate the new International Property Type.
