MORe Staff Biography - Mary Lou McAvaney

MaryLou has been a staff member of MORe since 1983. She supervised the computer department and taught computer classes for many years. Throughout the past 10 years, she has held a wide range of responsibilities with the Accounting Department, including helping our members and staff with accounting questions and reconciling MORe bank statements. Prior to MORe, MaryLou worked at Homemakers as a Customer Service Representative.

MaryLou has received the NAR Scholastic Achievement Award and the MORe Presidential Staff Award.

In her spare time, MaryLou enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading and exercising. She resides in the western suburbs with her husband, Dave. They have four grown children, nine grandchildren and two more grandchildren on the way.
