• Registering Assumed Business Name per License Law 2000
  Registration for an assumed business name is required any time a real estate business is marketed to the public under a name that is IN ANY WAY different than the name appearing on the sponsoring broker license. Registration must first be made in each county in Illinois in which the sponsoring broker is doing business. Copies of the registration documents must then be filed with the DBRE Licensing Department in Springfield. See Rule 1450.90.
