Assumed Name and Signage
- Real Estate License Law 2000 regarding signage and location
- Registering Assumed Business Name per License Law 2000
Registration for an assumed business name is required any time a real estate business is marketed to the public under a name that is IN ANY WAY different than the name appearing on the sponsoring broker license. Registration must first be made in each county in Illinois in which the sponsoring broker is doing business. Copies of the registration documents must then be filed with the DBRE Licensing Department in Springfield. See Rule 1450.90.

"I just wanted to let you know that I took AND PASSED!! the Broker state exam today!! I couldn't have done it without the instruction from Wayne Paprocki at the MORe Prelicensing Broker classes. As I took the test, I found that nothing I studied helped me, but I was recalling things we talked about in class. He really did a great job preparing us and I really appreciate it. I hope to take other classes with Mr. Paprocki in the future. The review class with the simulation practice made all the difference, especially in the National test. I really think anyone who is attempting to pass the state final would benefit from this course with Wayne. I didn't realize how prepared I was until I actually took the exam."
