Green Work Boots Tour

June 18th, 2009 by Tracy Polgar

A behind the scenes, inside the walls look at Green Certified building practices

Speaker

Bill Schiller

Power Point

We want to challenge people to learn more about the possibilities available now and in the future that will impact their homes. The Green Work-Boots Tour, held July 17, 2009, provided the opportunity to see inside these show homes before the drywall is installed. Consumers and professionals were guided through homes by informed professionals focusing on the key areas of ANSI-approved, NAHB Green Building Standards. It is our desire to provide solid information to the public to enable them to make quality-based decisions about housing and communities. In addition to the first Green Work-Boots Tour, seminars and guided "green building" tours throughout the Green Homes on Parade offer you an additional opportunity to view groundbreaking products, by industry-leading companies.
