Lynn is the owner of Lynn Madison Seminars, a full-service training and development company devoted to the advancement of professional in real estate.  Lynn has been the speaker at the NAR convention for over a decade and has spoken to REALTORS® in over 30 states.  Lynn has been active in developing and delivering Illinois' continuing education programs since 1992.

Lynn is the owner of Lynn Madison Seminars, a full-service training and development company devoted to the advancement of professional in real estate.  Lynn has been the speaker at the NAR convention for over a decade and has spoken to REALTORS® in over 30 states.  Lynn has been active in developing and delivering Illinois' continuing education programs since 1992.

As an instructor for REBAC's ABR program, Lynn not only conducts the program nationwide, she is involved in its development and instructor certification program.  Lynn wrote the REBAC BPOR course and co-authored the SFR Certification program as well.  In 2004 she was inducted in the REBAC Hall of Fame.

Lesley Muchow has been with NAR since May 2010. Lesley focuses her work on matters including the Americans with Disabilities Act, employment law, fair housing issues, NAR Constitution and Bylaws and general contract negotiation matters. Prior to joining NAR, Lesley's experience has focused on general corporate matters and financial services regulation, and includes three years at the North American Securities Administrators Association in Washington, D.C., where her work focused on securities regulation, corporate law, and association legal work. She received her J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law, and is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a B.S. and a B.A. Lesley is admitted to the state bar of Pennsylvania and is admitted as in-house counsel to the state bar of Illinois.

Laurie Murphy

Laurie Murphy came to IDFPR with more than 20 years of real estate experience. In her tenure as Deputy Director of the Division of Real Estate, she’s helped develop processes to increase efficiencies within the Division, while serving as a liaison to the Department’s advisory boards, auditors, and trade associations. She’s also served as IDFPR’s Chief of Boards and Complaints for Real Estate Brokerage and Community Association Management. Murphy currently holds a Real Estate Managing Broker License and has previously served as a Designated Managing Broker as well as a small business owner. Murphy received her Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University.

Matt Difanis
2020 Chair of NAR Professional Standards Committee

Matt served as 2020 Chair of NAR's Professional Standards Committee, where he advanced a series of proposals that ultimately resulted in the addition of Standard of Practice 10-5 to the NAR Code of Ethics, a prohibition against REALTORS® engaging in discriminatory hate speech. Matt is 2021 Chair of the Professional Standards Interpretations and Procedures Advisory Board. He served as...

Matt served as 2020 Chair of NAR's Professional Standards Committee, where he advanced a series of proposals that ultimately resulted in the addition of Standard of Practice 10-5 to the NAR Code of Ethics, a prohibition against REALTORS® engaging in discriminatory hate speech. Matt is 2021 Chair of the Professional Standards Interpretations and Procedures Advisory Board. He served as 2018 President of the Illinois REALTORS®. During his four years on his state leadership team, he gradually became aware of the industry’s persistent shortcomings in diversity, equity and inclusion, and he committed himself to improving it. Matt has since won numerous awards for his work on fair housing and inclusion in the industry. Matt works full-time with clients in his home market of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, where he leads a high producing team and is broker-owner of RE/MAX Realty Associates. Matt and his wife Angelle have two teenage children, Gabe and Izzy.

Joseph R. Fortunato Jr. joined the Lisle firm of Momkus LLC as a partner, effective April 1, 2020.  He is a past Chair of the ISBA Real Estate Section Council, a past Chair of the DuPage County Bar Association Real Estate Law & Practice Committee, the former President and former Board member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, counsel to Mainstreet Organization of Realtors® since 2001, a member of the drafting committee of the Multi-Board Residential Real Estate Contracts, and a frequent lecturer for the Illinois State Bar Association and regional bar associations.  He has testified extensively as an opinion witness in cases involving real estate law issues.  In 2015 he authored a book entitled “Getting Started as a Real Estate Attorney” published by the ABA.
