30-Hour Post-Licensing Course

Please note, only MORe members who have or will complete the MORe JumpStart Course are able to register for this course.

The 30-Hour Post-Licensing Course will teach you:

  • How to qualify buyers and sellers to put more money in your pocket.
  • How to write and negotiate contracts to put and keep more transactions together.
  • How to execute an accurate CMA and estimate of expenses for your sellers to keep you from listing properties that either won't sell, won't appraise out, or won't close.
  • The basics of doing distressed property sales in our unique market.
  • How to help your buyer survive a multiple offer situation - and get the property.

Post-Licensing Requirements:

  • Newly licensed brokers are required to complete a 30-Hour Broker Post-Licensing Course prior to their first license renewal. You will not be required to complete any additional continuing education course work during that cycle.
  • Attendance is required at all sequential course dates to receive credit.
  • Illinois attorneys are exempt from completing the 30-Hour Broker Post-Licensing Course and continuing education hours. However, attorneys still need to submit the license renewal application and $150 renewal fee of IDFPR as required by all licenses up for renewal.
  • A license number is required to take the exam at the end of class.  This class can't be taken while working with a 45-day permit.
  • In order to take this course you must have an active real estate license.
