Carol Moore is delighted to be your Senior Real Estate Specialist® Designation instructor and looks forward to assisting you with serving your maturing clients with knowledge, compassion and care.  

Carol is from Chicago and is a long time resident of the South Suburbs. She began her career as an Illinois REALTOR® in 1993 and a licensed Broker in 1995 after being a Certified Public Accountant for 8 years. Carol has been a licensed real estate pre-licensing and continuing education instructor since 2017 and earned the SRES® designation in 2014.

Currently, Carol serves on the Board of Directors of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, which represents over 20,000 local suburban REALTORS®.  She also serves on Mainstreet's Senior Services (since 2018) and  Government Affairs (since 2020) Committees.

When Carol is not helping clients or volunteering, she loves attending outdoor music venues, cardio drumming, her 40+ Double Dutch Club and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband Ronnie have a full household including their two 18-year-old sons, Isaac and Jordan, who are attending their freshman year of college out of state, Carol's mother, Betty and Brandy, their 60-pound, 9-year-old Labradoodle.

Over the past 29 years in real estate, Carol has learned that the real work is keeping everyone and everything connected to get to the closing table successfully. She prides herself on having a very client-focused approach and on leveraging her strong negotiation and marketing skills to improve her client’s experience. Carol truly appreciates the opportunity to help people who are going through some of life’s toughest transitions – like serious illness, reduced mobility, divorce or losing a loved one – and navigating through the real estate process, which sometimes can seem a bit overwhelming.  

She has special compassion and patience for seniors from helping several close senior family members transition through various phases of life like: right-sizing to the next home or active senior living communities, serious illness, in-home caretaking, assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, applying for medicaid, and more. She hopes to share her love for serving seniors in the SRES® Designation Course.

Harriet Kubicz currently holds the Illinois Real Estate Managing Brokers license and the pre-licensing instructor license. She became a licensed salesperson in 2004, an MRED Trainer in 2020. She is a strong believer in the professionalism of the real estate industry and sharing knowledge both as a mentor and educator. Along with being a top producer at HomeSmart Realty Group in Orland Park, she also assists with Broker Support and training.

Julie Swan has an extensive background in education and real estate, currently serving as the Manager of Credentials & Operations and CIPS Member Specialist at the National Association of REALTORS® since January 2016. Prior experience includes the role of Admissions Manager at the British School of Chicago from September 2012 to December 2015 and Assistant Director and 3's Teacher at Irving Park Infant Toddler Center between July 2009 and June 2010.

Previously, Julie Swan worked as a Real Estate Agent for Domus Group from 2002 to 2008 and as an Early Childhood Teacher at Chicago Public Schools from 1999 to 2003. Julie Swan holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Illinois State University, obtained between 1995 and 1998.

As the Director of Specialty Divisions, Ramona leads four of Mainstreet’s most dynamic and thriving member communities: Global, New Agent, Senior Services, and the Young Professionals Network (YPN). Career development is her passion, and her work reflects her dedication to helping others succeed in the real estate industry.

Ramona began her journey in 2005 with the REALTOR® Association of NorthWest Chicagoland, where she rose to Director of Education. After the association’s merger with Mainstreet REALTORS®, she expanded her expertise to include content creation, social media marketing, sponsorship development, and event management.

Her love for learning shines through in her achievements, including earning the e-PRO®, At Home with Diversity and the Alliance Certified Ally certifications, the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), Certified International Property Specialist® (CIPS), REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE) designations, and the Commitment to Excellence endorsement from the National Association of REALTORS®. As an RPAC Major Investor and YPN RPAC Pledge, Ramona is dedicated to advocating for private property and business rights.

Beyond real estate, Ramona is deeply committed to her community. She has volunteered in inner-city outreach programs for youth and the homeless and coordinated a volunteer ESL program with the Racetrack Chaplaincy. At home in Chicago’s Western suburbs, she stays active as a worship leader at her church, a leader with Friends on the Street Homeless Outreach-Chicago, and the go-to fun aunt for her nieces and nephews.

Whether she’s mentoring new professionals, organizing global initiatives, or lending her voice in song, Ramona brings energy, creativity, and a personal touch to everything she does.
