The 45-Hour Post Licensing course is designed to move your career in the right direction. The The 45-Hour Broker Post Licensing Course is the requirement for new brokers to renew their license for the first time. The course is broken down into three 15-hour segments.
- Risk Management – 15 Hours
- Brokerage Principles – 15 Hours
- Transactional Issues – 15 Hours
By taking our new member orientation - Jumpstart - you have completed* the first day of Mainstreet's (live or zoom) 45-Hour course program.
- *Jumpstart covers 7.5 hours of the Risk Management course that Mainstreet offers in-person or on Zoom.
- *Jumpstart does not count towards our online, onDemand or leaponline self-study options.
- *Jumpstart does not count towards another school's course.
- For members who have completed Jumpstart, you must continue with the following to fulfill your requirement for the first time renewal.
Risk Management - day 1 covers:
- Where you left off at during Jumpstart
Brokerage Principles – days 2 & 3 covers:
- Company policy
- Earnest Money
- Elements of contracts
- Harassment prevention
- Building Market Knowledge
- Marketing and Advertising
- Business Development and Goal Setting
Transactional Issues - days 4 & 5 covers:
- Working with sellers
- Doing a CMA
- Successful seller counseling session
- Pricing
- Working with Buyers
- Qualifying
- First meeting
- Buyer counseling
- Showing property
