Last week, Mainstreet had the honor of recognizing our very first recipient of the Mainstreet Young Leaders in Real Estate Scholarship!
This Scholarship was established to provide a Mainstreet REALTOR® with the opportunity to grow in their leadership and career development through attendance at an industry event. The value of attendance at a state or national association event or an industry partner event goes beyond the academics of the classroom. It allows the member the opportunity to gain vital connections with industry leaders from across the nation who will mentor, support, and encourage them in their leadership journey.
This year’s scholarship recipient has been in Real Estate for three years and started their involvement in Real Estate as a volunteer with an industry partner for a year helping their Board of Directors stay organized and promoting the organization’s events. Through their experience, they realized many minorities can be overwhelmed by the Real Estate process. So they became a REALTOR® to be able to serve their community.
