Mainstreet Members and Staff Recognized at NAR Mid-Year Meetings

The National Association of REALTORS® hosted their annual Legislative Meetings in National Harbor, MD over a 6 day span May 1st - 6th. Thousands of NAR members, and association staff and leadership attended the conference in-person for the first time since the start of the pandemic. A vast array of meetings and seminars touched upon fair and affordable housing, emerging technology, advocacy, new products, economic forecasts, and more. We’re here to share the highlights from the weeklong event, starting with Mainstreet’s own successes on the national stage.

Mainstreet made a big impression at this year’s event. At the RPAC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, ten of our members were recognized for their career long contributions to RPAC. Three years of inductees were honored, including 2021 Hall of Fame members Doug Carpenter, Lynn Madison and Piero Orsi  and  who reached a lifetime RPAC investment of $75,000, and Kathy Frankenberger and Carrie Little who both reached a lifetime RPAC investment of $25,000. Mainstreet members Chris Read (2013), Debbie Prodehl (2019), Lisa Keating (2020), and Mike Drews (2020) were also honored at the ceremony.

Additionally, Mainstreet staff members Christi Koziol and Tracy Polgar received distinguished recognition for obtaining their REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation from NAR. The designation takes years of commitment and experience in the industry to obtain, and Mainstreet is proud of our latest designees. Mainstreet Vice President Kim McCoy hosted the RCE Leadership Luncheon in her role as the NAR 2022 AEC RCE Certification Advisory Board Chair.

Mainstreet is committed to providing opportunities for our members and staff to become industry leaders at a national, state, and local level. If you are interested in starting your journey, please consider applying for a volunteer position on one of Mainstreet’s committees and advisory groups.
