Mainstreet Recognizes 20 Under 40 Recipients

Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® is committed to identifying and developing the next generation of Real Estate leaders. Mainstreet’s 20 Under 40 Award recognizes 20 Mainstreet members ages 40 and under who demonstrate excellence in their careers, community, and the Real Estate industry.

As American composer, pianist, and orchestra leader, Duke Ellington said, “My attitude is never to be satisfied, never enough, never.” These twenty award recipients are exemplary leaders not only in the Real Estate industry, but in their communities. They have taken those extra step to show leadership, passion, and commitment to the REALTOR® name every day.

After wanting to get started in the Real Estate industry for 10 years, June decided that she would take that step to becoming a REALTOR®. June took some vacation away from the military to take accelerated Real Estate courses, and two years ago she began her journey in the Real Estate industry. June is an active member in the Real Estate industry, a member of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP), and Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR). June has 20 years of military services and is an active duty US Army Logistics Officer. June became CarMarc Realty Group Rookie of the Year in 2020 and the companies Top Producer in 2021.

 

Benny had Real Estate in his blood. Starting his career in 2015, he realized that the Real Estate industry was for him, as his father was a REALTOR® in the 90’s. Benny is an active member in his community, volunteering his time and money to help disabled Veterans, as well as hosts first time buyer’s seminars. An interesting fact about Benny is that he used to be a professional baseball player!

 

 

One of Tenia’s biggest passion is helping others, especially those with low income and/or on government assistance, achieve their Real Estate goals and build wealth, that’s why in December 2020, she started her career in Real Estate. Tenia is an active member in the Real Estate industry with her involvement in the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), and Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR). 

 

 

 Wanting a career where she could have her own clients, and help them achieve their goals, Kim Dalaskey decided it was her time to leave working for Financial Advisors and get started with Real Estate. Kim is the proud owner of the Monarque Group and contributes her success to her hyper local expertise of the Naperville market. Kim is dedicated to the industry and holds multiple Designations and Certifications, but she is also a mom of two. Recently, Kim was also awarded Naperville’s 4 Under 40 Award!

 

 

After spending 10 years as a 911 dispatcher, Jenifer reached out to a friend, telling him that she always wanted to be in the Real Estate industry. The following week she started working as the assistant to her friend, and the next year she was licensed. Jenifer is active in the industry, being a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) and holds multiple Designations and Certifications. In addition, she is a high school and All-Star Cheerleading coach and a Make-A-Wish of Illinois Wish Granter and Wish Discover Expert Leader.

 

Starting her career in 2013, Brook Ebersohl decided that it was time to start a career with her daughter getting older, but she had one obstacle, classes getting cancelled. Brook knew that if she wanted this bad enough, she would have to take matters into her own hands, that is when she decided to do the home study. Brook prides herself in knowing the ins and outs of grant programs that has allowed her to get homes for people who never thought homeownership was possible.

 

David’s introduction to the Real Estate industry happened right after college. He spent two years in an administrative role, but stepped away to pursue an MBA. After graduation, David was introduced to MRED CEO Rebecca Jensen and began his career with MRED in March 2017. After a few years with MRED, one thing led to another and in January 2021, he passed his licensing exam and became a REALTOR®. David is active in the industry, holding multiple Designations and Certifications, he’s also the Membership Director for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) DuPage County, member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR), and 2021-2022 Mainstreet YPN Committee member.

 

When asked what was one thing in her Real Estate career that she was most proud of, Karolina Franz said it was the Designations she has earned. She knew she wanted to be the best at her new career and was eager to learn more about the industry. Karolina is a past Mainstreet YPN Committee member. Today, Karolina holds four Designations and Certifications, is a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, and is dually licensed in Florida.

 

Some REALTORS® come from family’s with strong ties to the Real Estate industry, and then there’s Sabrina Glober. Sabrina is lucky to come from four generations of Real Estate Experience and was able to be mentored into the industry by her father. She holds multiple Designations and Certifications as well as a volunteer for Sharing Connections, a local non-profit benefiting underprivileged families, the YMCA, and is an involved member of the Chamber630 and Rotary Club.

 

Prior to making the move to full time REALTOR®, Moneca was a stay at home mom and later turned into a substitute teacher. After being a substitute teacher, Moneca realized that she likes the flexibility of making her own schedule and wanted to continue with the same structure, in comes Real Estate. Moneca received her Broker’s license in 2019 and spent her time working part time, that is until August 2021. She is an active member at Mainstreet, serving on multiple Volunteer Committees, and is the local first Vice-President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) South Suburban.

 

Gloria comes from a family where Real Estate is not just the family business, but it’s a “way of life.” It wasn’t until after her graduation from Marquette that she realized that the Real Estate industry was calling her name. Gloria is a Designated Managing Broker, a Certified Home Stager, and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). In addition to her career, Gloria also volunteers at her kids school and church and is a part of the CommUNITY Committee that hosts break out events for parents to socialize and get to know each other.

 

Toni started her Real Estate career in 2017 after completing her Bachelors in Journalism. She wanted to take her best skill of communication and put it towards a career path, and as we know, there is no better career for that than Real Estate. Toni has been involved at Mainstreet, being a past member of Mainstreet’s YPN Committee. One of Toni’s most proud moments as a REALTOR® came in 2021 when she received a NAR-Mainstreet Community Outreach Grant to revitalize the Alsip Community Trail.

 

What started off as a way to cut the middle person out to fix and flip property, Brandice quickly realized that she had passion for educating and helping first time home buyers obtain the dream of home ownership. Brandice is a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) and holds multiple Designations and Certifications. In addition, Brandice teaches multiple classes to help educate people on the home buyer process, including teaching financial literacy classes to children. 

 

After a decade in the retail banking industry, Maribel wanted to use her skills to better serve the community, her family, and friends. Maribel is an active member in her community, having served as VP of the Boys and Girls Club of Naperville, school PTA Chair, and much more. In addition, Maribel enjoys counseling colleagues, team members, clients, family, and friends on the importance of home ownership. Maribel currently is number two in units, in an office of over 500 agents.

 

 

Jessica's real estate career began in 2018, where she joined a top producing team. Although she was licensed, her role was in the team's listing preparation, launch, and follow up. In 2019, she decided to branch out as a solo agent and joined d'aprile properties. Jessica is a regular advocate for property rights and home ownership, and serves on Mainstreet’s Education Advisory Board and Young Professionals Network Committee. Outside of the Real Estate industry, Jessica teaches advanced yoga that focuses on creating adaptive practices for special populations, such as cancer survivors and students with scoliosis.

 

 

Chase’s Real Estate career began in 2012 as a Commercial Broker. In 2015, he decied to join forces with his mother to form The Michels Group. Chase is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) and has received multiple Certifications. In addition to Real Estate, Chase is active in his community. From sponsoring school programs and sports teams to hosting annual fundraisers, Chase is making an impact both in the Real Estate world and in his community. 

 

After leaving her job in Advertising in 2014, Briana realized that Real Estate was calling her name. Briana is a mother and loves to support her kids school. She is an active member in her community serving on the Board of Directors of Wellness Housing in Hinsdale. She credits the industry to giving her inspiration for one of her biggest hobbies, home decorating/home projects. Last year, Briana sold approximately $10 million in closed sales volume.

 

Real Estate started off as a way to provide for her family while working with a flexible schedule, but quickly turned into a passion. Sarah enjoys being able to guide clients to achieve the goal of homeownership, and reassuring that it is within reach and doesn’t have to be a scary process. Sarah is the Event Director for Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) West Suburban. In 2021, Sarah won the BHHS Chicago “Trailblazer” award, awarded to newer agents. In addition to her career, Sarah also sets up fundraisers collecting donations for homeless shelters, that often times receives support from local businesses.

 

After returning from overseas while being deployed with the Marine Corps, Jennifer obtained her license in 2015. Jennifer is very active in her community, where she has volunteered with the Naperville American Legion, Naperville VFW, Toys for Tots, Women Maines Association, Naperville Gold Star Monument, and so much more. Outside of Real Estate, Jennifer still serves in the Marine Corps Reserve.

 

One of Ashely’s proudest moments while working in the industry has been starting her own Brokerage. This July, Ashely and her office of over 50 will celebrate their 5-year anniversary. Through her Brokerage, they often take collections for local organizations, most recently two large donation drives for Kruses Krew, a group that packs care packages monthly for active duty military members.
