This year, the high honor award for Global Ambassador of the Year for NAR went to Mainstreet Member Ahmed Badat, Global Ambassador to Ghana, South Africa, and Nigeria. Ahmed is no stranger to the NAR Global community. He was one of the original members and supporters of both NAR and Mainstreet global initiatives in the early 90s and has been an ardent advocate of connecting Mainstreet and NAR to agents and real estate Associations around the world.

Ahmed was raised in South Africa and has been using his connections and knowledge to help us support our international partners. Despite the pandemic, Ahmed has done tremendous work this year including:

Ahmed is a valued Mainstreet volunteer of the Global Committee since inception and past President of Mainstreet. His long-term dedication and support to his industry is a benefit and value to all of the members of NAR but especially for all of us at Mainstreet.
